Why Flemish painting I like it so much? I feel very caustic in his world that mocks death. His surreal, farcical, and finally this tone perfectly irreverent delight me. Bart Baele painting is reminiscent of James Ensor .
"His work can be seen as a fragmented narrative: every drawing, every painting, every sculpture collected one point in his life as a confession revealing the bruised psyche of the artist. But it also holds - and c ' is probably due to its pervasiveness very contemporary - a mysterious component, combining idealism suffering and redemption, raising questions in the viewer ever new. "
